Air Force Academy-based a cappella group In the Stairwell will be performing live on NBC's "America's Got Talent" on Tuesday.

The all-male cadet singing group advanced on to the quarterfinals "Live Shows" last week after receiving a standing ovation, led by guest judge Seal. The group performed a rendition of NSYNC's "Bye Bye Bye."

The group will be performing again at 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday. This time, live.

"We are ready to fly," vocalist Benjamin Hightower said in a news release from the Academy. "We are going to do our best and hope America supports us."

The judges last week regaled the group with praise.

Regular judge Howie Mandel said the singers "stepped it up from last time." And Simon Cowell called their performance one to remember, saying, "I really applaud you for what you've done."

Other regular judges include Heidi Klum and Mel B.

But this time, it's largely up to America whether In the Stairwell will beat out the other 11 acts to advance on to the next round. Viewers must vote for their favorite acts to send them on.

To vote, call or text the number or four-digit code provided after In the Stairwell's performance, use the official AGT app or vote online at https://www.nbc.com/americas-got-talent/exclusives/agt-vote (advance registration required).

In the Stairwell was formed in 2004 by freshman cadets who were not allowed to sing in their dormitories and were restricted to practicing in the stairwell.

They recorded some of their performances and uploaded them to YouTube, where "America's Got Talent" producers found them last fall and invited them on the show.

In the Stairwell now is an official Air Force Academy club that sings a range of tunes, from contemporary hits to the national anthem.
